Terra Remodeling and Design is based in Portland Oregon, it was established by Brian Lyne in 2006, and is currently specializing in residential remodeling with an emphasis on kitchens and bathrooms.

Brian Lyne is originally from the east coast, he worked as a carpenter for years in the Washington DC area, and then moved to Maine to dive for sea urchins. While in Maine he worked part time for a builder for 10 years and got involved with new construction as well as large remodeling projects.

From Maine Brian moved to the Bahamas for a year to teach sustainable building practices and scuba diving to high school students at The Island School. From the Bahamas, Brian made his way to portland, and has been working here ever since.

Since opening it's doors, the Terra crew has remodeled over two hundred bathrooms and countless kitchens in single family homes and condos, and they still love doing what they do. They find it gratifying to breathe new life into an old, tired space.

For much of the tile work and carpentry they use old school methods, it may take a little longer, but the results are well worth it. As well as '"old school" techniques, Terra also uses the latest environmentally friendly products and building practices, Terra has evolved into a blend of the old and the new, with an emphasis on sustainable building techniques and practical design.
